Iceland Innovation Week was a success

And it's a wrap! Our presence at Iceland Innovation Week couldn't be better with the closure on Thursday last week.

During the afternoon our Ragnheiður H. Magnúsdóttir participated in the Wreck-it-tech panel event and discussed disruptive innovation with local and international experts.

During the evening we hosted the one-of-a-kind Nordic Ignite event together with Nýsköpunarsjóður - New Business Venture Fund:
At our Investor Playground event, Top Angels met the Hottest Startups in Iceland and has been an exclusive opportunity to network by taking the investing game to the next level, connecting with some of the most dynamic entrepreneurs and investors in Iceland and abroad.

We had also the opportunity to admire the ongoing exhibition by Melanie Ubaldo, Trapo, at the event's venue, Ásmundarsalur, built in 1933 by Ásmund Sveinssson, now an exhibition space and an art school, which has played a major role in Iceland's art and cultural history.

Together with our partners at NABAN (North Atlantic Business Angels Network) supported by Nordic Atlantic Cooperation (NORA), we explored new ways to create business angels networks, having with us Hugskotið, KUPA, and NorBAN - Norwegian Business Angel Network, that shared on the stage their insights on empowering new investors into their ecosystems, as a continuation of our activities for the creation of the Icelandic chapter of NABAN.
